I have over 10-year-experience as architect and consultant for large scale projects. Since 2007 I held different positions as project manager and project director, combining my studies from business administration and architecture. After several years in China responsible for R&D and production buildings as well as consulting projects within various industries, I set up an interdisciplinary strategy team in Berlin. In 2017, I started as lecturer and research associate at Department for Architecture of the Technichal University of Munich (TUM). My research focusses on innovation processes, digital transformation, physical space and new ways of working. Related to this, I am developing new educational formats in architecture and extending the field to cross-industry co-operations in emerging technologies in the built environment, future of work, new work and property technologies. Since 2020 I am building up as managing director the TUM Venture Lab Built Environment to foster innovation in this field further. As independent architect and consultant I support organizations to develop organizations and start-ups into future working modes. At the permanent beta I blend architectural thinking with organizational design and innovation management to transform industries and institutions for the future.
